ssi & cmas: education according international standards
In our education activity we strictly comply CMAS and SSI international standards (ISO 24801-2 / DIN EN 14153-2). Our instructors will teach you the fundamental of SCUBA diving in small groups with max 4 students.
Here you can have a look to our courses overview.
our offer for advanced divers
By OmniSub advanced divers can improve their skills with many courses such as night and limited visibility, deep diving, nitrox and much more!
this is how normally we organize a course
The practical sessions are splitted on 5 dives and confined water sessions (in the sea!), while the theory (such as techical language, physics, underwater behaviour) are properly divided in learning units.
Do you want to study at home and come here just for the practical sessions? No problem with SSI online learning!
Just drop us a message with name, birth date and e-mail address where we can reach you and you will receive a link where to find all the online learning material in advance. Have fun by studying!
Our goal is to train happy but also responsible divers. The course will be concluded after 5 training dives and a theoretical exam. You’ll then receive our logbook but, most important, your worldwide recognized“Open Water Diver” certification.
prerequisites & safety
all you need to know
Basically SCUBA diving is an activity for everybody. However, like for any other sport, particular prerequisites apply.
An average grade of fitness and good health are fundamental to start a SCUBA education, so we ask every new student for a medical statement. For people youger as 40 years the statement can’t be older than 3 years. For minors and peole over 40 years the statement must be max 1 year old.
Important: if you got through a Covid-19 infection an updated medical statement is needed.
If you are unsure until the last moment, we can arrange a medical examination directly by our Diving Center.
For us safety plays a central role, so we expect self discipline from our students. A certain level of confidence with water is a plus, ideally a first snorkeling experience will help you but it is not mandatory.
